If you run into a situation where the software you're trying to get hmail email realy requires a username and password in the field, this can be accomplished in HMail.
Here is a screenshot of how to do that. It can be any domain name that is NOT the real internet one. Then just create a user/pass. So in this case the smtp user name would be: dmconnect@countrysidemi.local
** You still want to have the sender email be from the actual domain name though, like no-reply@countrysidemi.com
